Swerea SICOMP is one of Europe’s leading research institutes in the field of polymer fibre composites. We work with applied composite research, development, and training in an international milieu. At our disposal we have cutting-edge expertise, well-equipped laboratories and an extensive international network via ongoing national and international joint projects and collaboration.

DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is an independent foundation with the purpose of safeguarding life, property, and the environment. Our history goes back to 1864, when the foundation was established in Norway to inspect and evaluate the technical condition of Norwegian merchant vessels.

Swedish Marine Technology Forum is a non-profit organization that gathers the maritime industry in Sweden.The organization is working toward development of new and less environmentally damaging products, efficient production and cooperation between firms, universities and public representatives. Swedish Marine Technology Forum is also working to increase recruitment and enhance regeneration in the maritime industry.

Center of Maritime Technologies (CMT) is the coordinator of the network for Research, development and Innovation of the German maritime Industry and science. The association’s goal is to strengthen research, development and innovation in the maritime industry by promoting cooperation between the various players in industry and the academic world.

Since the start in 1939 Stena has developed into an international group of companies with business activities all over the world. Activities today are spread over several areas: ferry routes, shipping, offshore drilling, property, finance plus recycling, environmental services and trade.

The Swedish network for lightweight constructions at sea, S-LASS. The network supports, presents and coordinates activities aimed at the Swedish industrial development of lightweight constructions at sea. S-LASS gathers leading expertise in lightweight maritime construction from industry, research and development but also includes and invites participants that wish to advance their knowledge in this field and to become involved in the ongoing expansion of lightweight ship and offshore construction.

Chalmers is an outward-looking university of technology with a global appeal that conducts internationally recognized education and research linked to a professional innovation process.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology accounts for one-third of Sweden’s technical research and engineering education capacity at university level. Education and research cover a broad spectrum – from natural sciences to all the branches of engineering as well as architecture, industrial engineering and management, urban planning,
